Okay readers, I want to know which version you guys like better… The Mel Torme version or Michael Buble’s version of “Comin’ Home Baby”

Sorry Michael, this one goes to Mel. He was the original bad-ass vocalist.

I don’t think it’s fair to compare anyone to Mel or Ella.

That said, I’ve been able to see MB twice and will stand in line to buy tickets every time he comes within 500 miles of me.

David - I almost want to agree with you, but I have to say that I like the background vocals and stuff better in Mike’s version. I don’t know, Mel’s sounds a little campy, while Mike’s has this urgency to it… I can’t explain it. LOL

there is a video of the Michael Buble version U can pick it up on The Daily Buble.

I think Michael Buble supasses Mel Torme version it is much more swinging you definitely want to get up & dance to MB’s version, also backing is much better whats more Michael Buble has a Far superior voice his range it is superb. all in all Michael Buble gets my vote MB is the best crooner/pop artist on this planet he is so versatile
