American Express and Norwegian Cruise Line Present Savor The Night
American Express and Norwegian Cruise Line present Cardmember-only exclusive cruising. To help celebrate the newest member of the fleet, Norwegian Gem, we’ve organized two elite one-night cruises out of the Port of New York on December 20 and 21, 2007. These two very special nights will feature some of the biggest names in food, wine and entertainment. Guests traveling on these extraordinary voyages will sample first-class tasting menus inspired by the country’s top chefs, including celebrity chefs Bobby Flay of Mesa Grill, Floyd Cardoz of Tabla and Michael Anthony of Gramercy Tavern.
Each menu will be complimented by wine tasting flights featuring premium vineyards from around the globe. All featured chefs will be on board. Afterwards, all guests are invited to an intimate concert with one of today’s hottest musicians, five time Grammy winning and multi-platinum recording artist, John Legend. Guests will also have full access to Norwegian Gem’s numerous first class amenities and entertainment including: lounges, comedy by Second City, dancing, spa, and even a bowling alley.
This event is exclusive to American Express® Cardmembers and can be reserved only through American Express Travel. Please call 866-273-6254 for pricing, details, and to book your voyage today. The cruise was ok, the food was a little disappointing, but the John Legend concert was absolutely fantastic!!! He gave a superb performance and the entire audience was really into it - especially when he did Ordinary People. His concert alone made the cruise worthwhile.

We really enjoyed the criuse we hope they do it again. I think Norweign could have given us a room upgrade. Our dinner did not come with Wine. We saw Bobby Flay and he wasn’t friendly. His menu was lamb that was your only choice. It was very good but I’m sure some people don’t like lamb. Some people had requested it and still never got it. I wasn’t a Legend fan but after the criuse I was.
