More Sinatra News and Links…

I’ve been collecting info on Frank Sinatra for quite some time, and I love when I’ve got enough stuff to toss it all into a post here for you… check this stuff out!

Warner Home Video Celebrates Frank Sinatra May 13 with New DVDs & New Collections - “Frank Sinatra is “widely held to be the greatest singer in American pop history and one of the most successful entertainers of the last century.” Beginning May 13, Warner Home Video will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the passing of “The Chairman of the Board” by releasing a total of 22 of his films in five new collections, with 11 titles brand-new to DVD.”

Also on May 13, Sinatra (mini-series) coming to DVD - Ol’ Blue Eyes Is Back, produced by his daughter Tina Sinatra, is finally set for release on DVD.

And to continue on with the May 13th date for Sinatra releases, let’s not forget the Frank Sinatra commemorative stamp that’s coming out.

A classic essay written in 1966, entitled “Frank Sinatra Has a Cold” is still highly revered as an amazing piece about the legend himself. GREAT read!

Forbes online once made a list of the “lucky 13″ top earning dead celebrities. Frank Sinatra wasn’t on the list in 2007 (Marilyn was, though), but he apparently has raked in $50M last year (okay, his estate raked it in) from Warner Music Group.
