- I’m so proud! Michael Buble’s up against Celine Dion and Avril Lavigne for the Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Fan Choice categories at Canada’s Juno Awards on April 6, 2008. Too bad I can’t figure out how to watch them here in NY!
- Dan Chruscinski apparently doesn’t much like my man Mike. He wrote a piece on StarPulse called ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Fantasy Cast where he adds various stars to the cast, including Michael Buble. Here’s what he says about My Bubble:
This guy annoys me to no end, so he would be the Marie Osmond of the competition. Plus, it is always good to have a singer that appeals to a very specific demographic, in this case I’m guessing the deaf.
Okay, I’m clearly not deaf, and I really can’t see how Mike would be anything like Marie Osmond. (Not that I have much of anything against Marie, either.) Personally, I think this writer’s attempt at humor is more annoying than his distaste for Michael or any of the other celebs on his cute little “list”. *eye roll*
- It seems as though another StarPulse writer (this time anonymous) posted that some stupid poll for some stupid show that states that 2% of the 1500 people who responded think that Michael Buble doesn’t have any “balls”. In terms of having “guts”, I guess. Whatever… as long as he can make me a love child, we’re all good. Tags: celebrity news, Michael Buble

Well, I have to agree that Buble is fairly irritating. He tries to make people who really just don’t know anything feel all sophisticated by recording rehashed “standards,” and then tries to come off as original and fresh. Also, his attitudes toward Americans bother me–aren’t the songs he sings American in origin?
