Jazz and Blues and Crooners go together! Chicago events this weekend

Okay, so as you might have noticed, b5media has been having some outages this week. It appears as though things are back on track, and my fellow music channel blogger Bryan Alaspa has listed some jazz and blues events going on this weekend in the Chicago area.

You know, some of my first introductions to blues and jazz music came from Bill Cosby on The Cosby Show. His obsession with rare recordings and features of legendary blues musicians and singers on the show always interested me. He even had Sammy Davis, Jr. on the show once! If anyone can find a clip of that, I’d really appreciate it!
