I know, it appears that I’m on an Alicia Keys kick here lately - maybe I am.
I also know that she’s considered R&B and not a “crooner” type, according to official genre types, but I can’t help it - She’s a crooner to me. Maybe it’s the piano, her voice, I don’t know… whatever it is, I’m kinda into it.

The song “Fallin’” kicks me in the heart… hardcore. It’s one of those lightbulb kind of feelings in a way. I’m also pretty keen on the newest, “No One” (off the “As I Am” (2007) album) but I’m saving that one for either another day or another time, as it’s really not even close to being a crooner song, but it’s kind of close to my heart too.
